About STEM EDSD STEM Ed is a statewide initiative that fosters collaboration among mathematics and science educators. This organization, officially the Joint Professional Development Committee, serves as a bridge between the South Dakota Science Teachers Association (SDSTA) and the South Dakota Council of Teachers of Mathematics (SDCTM).
